HD and Lowes netting holes are too big. Order it from 1/8" Clear Netting

@MadReefer Is your corner tank bowed in the front? If yes, would you be able to curve the window frame? I just made one for my 40B and it took me 15 minutes to cut the window frame screens kit(Lowes) and place the mesh in the frame.

FYI Lowes and HD do not carry black window frame kits. Only white and brown.

problem is its 6.5 by 6.5 i need one strip of like 15 inches

I have some mesh leftover from my build. Give me a day or 2 to dig it out, and you can have a piece, if it’s convenient for you to pick it up. It’s 1/4” clear mesh.

@nightmarepl

I have a friend who is looking to do the same. Did you take off the plastic rim, or leave it. If you took it off, can you tell us a little about how it went?

I just redid my screens using the aluminum door frames from home depot and I used something called bird block netting for the screening. The holes are probably about 3/4"x 3/4". It was only $8. Here's a shot. I have about 13 x13 feet left if anyone wants some for free!!

Now I have to modify mine around the o”flow. I get a lot of salt creep on the frame there.

The mesh from BRS is pretty good. Spacing is small enough to keep fish in and doesnt affect the light going in by much.
