I'm working on the plumbing design and parts list for my DT down to my basement sump.
I have some questions,
I plan on going Herbie with full siphon and dry emergency. The central overflow came with two 1 inch bulkheads and two 1/2 return bulkheads. In-regard to the drains is there any advantage of going 1.5 inch pipe before (overflow) and after the bulkheads.
On the return, I was planning of running 1.5 inch (pump use 1.5 inch output), up under the tank and whey it off to two 3/4 inch before and after the 1/2 return bulkhead.
Does the narrow bulkheads defeat the larger pipe?
Drain gate valve upstairs under tank or in basement just before sump? Used to dial in flow.
Does this sound reasonable?
Thanks
