Pod Pile

Anyone here have ever set one up or has one now?.. I kinda like the idea as i don't have a sump or refugium.. and how do you go about setting it up and stocking it?

Thanks

Sid

From what Ive heard its just a dense little stack of rubble, with small crevices that fish or predators cant get into. The pile will naturally accumulate pods over a few months or so.

I actually did this when I got my 75 gallon tank. you need to find a place in the back of the tank and use rubble rock stackup or glue to each other outside then place it in your tank in such away that your fish can not get in there and eat them. it work for me in 75 gallon tank. Can you copy what Rod did for his tank in term of setup a micro refugium? hang on the back of your tank

the pod piles work really well. i have one in the back corner of my tank from before i added a fuge. i do recommend glueing the rubble together for sure. the first 2 piles i tried ended up getting torn apart by my fish.
