I used 35 ppt same for the tank. I think it's better with a slightly lower salinity, but I have a mixing station full of that water, so I just used that. And I had it in my utility room which is always kinda between 72 and 80 all year long . No heater. I tried just to under think it as much as possible and just try it out. Some water, some air , some food. A lot of the details only matter if you're attempting to breed in a super efficient way, to sell or limit space or money investments.
