Portable RO/DI

Thans Brandon! When you get it bring some of the water to the next meeting and maybe someone will have a TDS we can use to test it out.

I have a TDS meeting so if you need it as the meeting, it will be there.

I have the very same unit. Unfortunatly I also have crap for pressure. My pressure is a 45 and I get water made very slow. I was measuring 1gal pure in almost 5 hrs. Not acceptable IMO. When that water was slightly warmed it was much better 5 gal in about 4hrs. Better but still not accepable. My first thought was that is was the membrane. This took about 20 e-mails and almost 2 months to get replaced. My biggest complaint is communication with this company. It is almost non existent. With all that stated I have gone back to buying water until I get a pump. I have been putting it off because so far everytime I purchase something to make water I get derailed by my wonderful water pressure. Hope you have better luck.

hmm the whole pressure thing scares me now jgraz as I live right near you in trenton. hopefully my water pressure is up to par. guess i will need to get some sort of pressure gauge as well

I would definitly check. The system says it will start making at 35 PSI. It will but you will be making it for a long time. I really gotta get a pump cause traveling to get water is starting to become a PIA.

I bought the RD102 100GPD REEF RO DI = $138.00 from Filter Direct Online Store. My gauge reads 55 and probably only average 50 GPD. Its enough for me and the water is cold this time of year. I would guess that slows it down some. I am happy with it though. No leaks and I like the clear canisters for the cartridges and DI chambers.

hey AJ as expected i got the unit today. the construction quality is very cheap of course lol. but it is working I will work on getting a TDS meter to see if it is actually coming out at 0ppm but so far soo good. i just started it up a 2:40 pm and the "clean" water is flowing into a gallon pitcher so we shall see how long it takes to fill

I run just a DI system with an in-line TDS meter. Going in it's reading 115 and coming out I get 0. I only run a DI because I can't see spending $125+ on a RO/DI for a 10G Nano. With my current DI I get about 50-55 gallons per filter.
