Possible bacteria bloom

My tank is extremely cloudy. I did a 20 gallon water change to see if it could help. No change. Any tips? I only have barely an 1 of sand over my 180. And the bloom seems to have taken hold,around Thursday. I've really haven't touched the tank. So nt sure what could've caused it

Are you running carbon? If not I would get some going. I would also prepare another WC for tomorrow.

I just replaced all my carbon today. Hopefully it would work. Everything seems fine at the moment

Dr. Tims might help. I know I guy who was going through the same thing and dosed some Dr. Tims and it helped. Hopefully it will do the same for you.

Check your Magnesium level. I had a similar problem with cloudy water and it turned out my Mag was down to 1150 and was causing the cloudiness.

But can someone explain why low mag could cause cloudy water. Am I percipitating?
