Possible hair algae

I'm starting notice a little patch of hair algae. Do I scrub wit a toothbrush. I've read mixed reviews. Some say don't scrub in tank since it will just float and reattach else were any suggestion. It's not really enoght to pull on with hands

I am not familiar with your setup, but I would not use a toothbrush unless you are siphoning next to it. If your phosphates are low it will starve out, if they are high it will grow soon!

Phos is zero and I have chaeto in fuge. Sure I think it's contained. Just annoying to look at and a constant reminder that the min something's off I have a huge problem
 
if possible remove the rock from the aquarium and pull off as much as possible then scrub it, rinse it really well and put back in.

I would try a couple mexican turbos. Maybe 2 or 3 at the most.

Downside to them is they will nock any loose frags off the rocks.but they are great for short hair algae.

They do an amazing job and get rid of algae fast.
