The power went out here in West Long Branch. I'm hearing from a friend it might be out until around 9:30- 10pm. Trying to get in contact with the power company right now.

What should I focus on right now to hold off until the power comes back on?

I'd at least power on the power heads and place them on the top of the tank so the water level is turbulent.

I'd also highly suggest plugging in a fan and having it pointed at the top of the water to keep it cool.

You could use the plug in your car.
You just need to power the return pump and
Maybe a wave maker.

Update: power is still out. Hooked up my power strips to the outlet in my f 250. Everything's running as if nothing happened. I'll just switch back once the power comes back on

have battery powered air pumps on hand for emergencies. oxygen is most important. I ended up getting a generator when I got the 200g. can't risk it . I know it's too late now, but just in case for next time.

Update #2: power didn't come on at 9. Power company said 7 am tomorrow. Now i don't know what to do. I can't leave my car running all night.

When do you get your stash from TSA? Did your power come back on? Do you know why it went out? We had no storms on this side of Monmouth county.
