Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Problems with Tapatalk

Both my phone and tablet are working fine. I did notice however, that a lot of pics are not showing up

Just had to delete and reinstall njreefers on tapatalk in order to post. Totally locked up and is an issue with NJRC exclusively. I was just on reef central with no problems at all. Keep getting alerts saying
"tapatalk API is expired. If you are the community administrator please update tapatalk API to the latest version"
Clearly this is an issue with tapatalk app and the site. My stuff works but does this randomly with the same alert message.... And only with NJRC and no other forum I am logged into. There. I said it. Now back to our regular scheduled thread.....

I'm looking into the update for Tapatalk and trying to find out what's needed to do it. I've found the download but I don't want to blindly install something in case it messes up other features of the site. I'm not a web designer so this is all trial and error for me so far. I plan to do a full backup of the site first, then do the install.
Please be patient and I'll get this corrected ASAP. It may not happen until at least tomorrow though because I'm prepping for an insurance audit at work today and we have an officers con-call scheduled for tonight.
On a side note, someone had asked me about activating Forumrunner as well. I'm trying to find out if there will be any conflicts or other issues with running both of these at the same time and if not, we'll have 2 options for mobile devices. Dance

I knew we should have purchased the mobile suite when we were purchasing VBulletin, but the BOD at the time turned it down. :thumbdown: This wouldn't have happened. Sorry George!

FYI, I'm currently uploading the updated Tapatalk API. Until the upload is completed, Tapatalk will not be working.

OK, I have the new API uploaded and installed. Tapatalk should be working normally now. If not, please post any issues or error messages here.

I'm guessing that means everything works fine? I have an older version of Tapatalk and it was working for me even before the update... so I couldn't troubleshoot it afterwards... it was just working still, lol. 
It still does not recognize njreefers for push notifications like reef central. Maybe some kind of switch on your side to enable it. I imagine that is a option the board has on their software. I don't have to reload any more and don't get the expired ati messages anymore though. Which is a plus.

Notification options just came on although I don't know if they work yet.

OK, now I'm both happy and confused.
Happy that it seems to be working but confused because it should not be yet.
The issue was that we didn't have a valid api key entered in the control panel which is required to enable this feature. When I tried to get a new one from the tapatalk website, it wouldn't let me because our site already has one issued. I did email tapatalk to ask them how to retrieve our correct key but have not heard back yet and certainly did not enter any key at all. I left it blank.
Really strange but maybe my email got them to fix it on their side?
