Bringing this back to life... Whats everyone's thoughts on the DJ strips w/ individual on/off buttons? I'm running some common power strips now and was really thinking about switching it out.

I was checking this strip out and it says:

Important:

This unit is not intended for use in or around wet or potentially wet areas including, but not limited to, aquariums, saunas, showers and fountains.

I wonder if every outlet maker says this, I really like this one. It I got one it would go in a GFI.

I think most power strips will have that warning. I guess it's a liability thing.

I just picked up a third one of these. They aren't cheap ($40+ including shipping). The model number is F9D1001-15.
Specs include
- Designed to power your workshop equipment and provide surge protection
- Metal construction is impact resistant
- Heavy-duty 15 ft. cord
- 10 grounded outlets
- 15 amp, 330-volt capacity
The "lifetime guarantee" is misleading - it only covers manufacturing defects.
Will it stop a bolt of lightning? Probably not.
Will it last forever? My third one is a replacement for my first.
