Question for those dosing AB+

So I just set up my doser to dose AB+ and figured out the dosing line holds about 48 ml of fluid inside before it dumps into tank. I figure if I’m dosing 6-7 ml for my 50 gallon tank all I have to do is fill the line with food amd then fill up my cup with RODI water for the doser to draw from. My idea is the food will only be in line for a week and as the week progresses the RODI water will flush the line instead of wasting all of that food that was sitting in the bottle. This way if I ever get busy the only thing left to dose would be the Rodi water. This stuff isn’t that cheap so I am trying to save every little bit I can by doing it this way. Hope this makes sense. Let me know your thoughts.

I don't see how it can go wrong. Just keep an eye on when the ab+ runs out so you don't accidentally continue dosing rodi water and your salinity begins to drop. (which would take a long while anyways)

Yeah I have a small bottle of RODI about 75 ml for that reason. Just in case because we all know it will happen. Also set a reminder on Apex for every Sat.

I just dose ab+ like 2x a week. I was dosing daily, but stopped. then again I also run a cal rx, and supplement with polyp booster, so who knows what's working and what's not.

It’s a great idea in my opinion!!
