Question on water parameters

Running softies only, haven't checked my numbers in about 8 months.
(I actually have a xenia tank I've never checked numbers in, nor have I done a water change in a year on it).
If coral in main tanks is acting strange, I do a slightly larger than normal water change (say 40% as opposed to the weekly 10-20%).
As per temp, I had a big mixed reef, kept it at 80, worked great.
80 is working well in the softie tanks as well.
