Questions about NOPoX doseing

So I've been,doseing nopox for about a week hopeing to deal with high nitrate levels but so far the only thing that's dropping to near trace levels is my phosphate. Is this normal I read that you need phosphate for nopox to work

Did you just take GFO offline? It takes a while. I would measure every few days and see. You might need to dose phosphate if it continue to be low. But take it slow.

I took the GFO offline the day befor I started nopox so about 6 days ago.. As for the high nitrates I am assuming its from the feeding and not enough live rock.

not sure what kind of setup you have but if you have a sump, I would try to introduce some bio-media in there to help with the lack of rocks first before I started dosing anything. Get some MarinePure Blocks/Balls or some Siporax. Seed them with some Microbacter or Dr.Tims. As the media gets settled, do some water changes as well.
