Rainford Goby and Pods

I just got a rainford from a lfs and found out that they really aren't algae eaters like my tailspot ( always a full belly) and that they really feed on pods that are in the algae. So I looked at buying pods online- some aren't expensive on ebay- are they reliable/ ant good? Do I need them? I do hatch brine shrimp a couple of times a week- good enough? I don't have many pods in my tank ( if any )

I was going to try them for my mandarin. Never had a chance as it vanished. I assume ut died and cleanup crew took care of it.
