I've been wanting to pull this thing off for weeks. Finally got to it today. This will be the last tank I own with a hole in the bottom. Very hard to work on

OUt of curiosity..why did you pull it off and why is it a PITA? I have one...cant say a saw a difference with and without this.

It just gets dirty. Lots of nooks and crannies. With a corner over flow bottom drilled tank, I really don't wanna be torquing on any of this stuff to clean it. Sketches me out.
