First off, what are the two suspects remaining in your tank? Secondly, could it be a hitchhiker crab? Flashlight at night might help....or some type of trap.

Ha years ago I had a 20g tank with some Molly in it. One day I noticed my cat sitting by the tank looking like he was eating something . Granted the tank was too high for him to get on top of it but I went over and looked anyway. I was indeed missing a fish. Only think I can think of is the fish jumped out and my cat at him.
Also check overflow. When I was redoing my sump I found a body of a fish I lost about 7 months prior
it's definitely not my cat...the lid is heavy so i can't see him getting into it....im honestly not sure...the 2 fish i just recently purchased on black Friday as there was a sale on them....my Komahara Blenny and my Fairy Wrasse ....both are super chill and have been getting along nicely with each other .....here is a pic from last night and you can see the tank in its current state...Blenny in the middle right above the shelving chalice and the wrasse on the right
