Red Sea Max S 650

Looks impressive. I found this link you might like. "blog.aquanerd.com/2012/10/the-red-sea-max-s-650-is-one-big-beefy-aio-aquarium.html"

Thanks ReeferRick appreciate it! After thinking about it I want to just build my own system like I did in the past. Just got to convince my better half of it.

This is a much better choice. I hate how Red Sea has a chiller compartment in their stand. Those tanks are ridiculously expensive and now they expect you to get a chiller!

My better half really liked it and I have been out of the hobby some my divorce 4 years ago. Sadly I'll buy what ever she cosigns at this point but she is all about it.

Now I'm trying to decide whether to go rimless or not

So now your definitely getting the RSM? If not, what tank size would you get? I don't have the stomach for a 4' rimless tank. I had a 2'x2' cube and i noticed it bowing. Now I cannot confidently say it jeopardized the structural integrity of the tank. However knowing my tank does not have a bow helps me sleep at night.

Well the thought of gallons of water pouring in the floor seems terrible I may stay away from rimless as for size as big as she will let me buy... which translates to how much will she let me spend

Build your own stand and get the tank you want. Once the system matures, all eyes are on the corals and fish.....not the other stuff.:)
