Reef in a Jar

Awhile back I posted an interest in aiptasia donations. Probably many of you thought I was nuts. I wanted to share a recent tank setup in our classroom. The goal is to raise anemones to eventually share with students to keep at home in a little mini reef jar. I am so excitedEDCC90D1-D634-4A75-B2AB-C14467BA5CAC.jpegCFAF8B97-043C-4455-B764-4296DC3C83EA.jpeg965C8C55-83A0-4655-977D-325C2220F072.jpeg000A69B5-3DEC-4FBC-9E34-A46C3496F550.jpeg1D1950B2-CEDE-4CD2-9AA3-7868FFB2BABC.jpeg to get the tanks setup again after covid shut us down. I will soon share our other tanks as we fill them with some cool stuff!

Get a mantis shrimp for that tank.

I actually took this idea from a college professor at Pratt who challenged his students to keep aiptasia in their dorm rooms. Hoping to inspire future reef keepers while teaching them science!
