Reef roids or coral nutrition Ab+

Guys I was thinking about this product as it looks very convenient because don’t bring the phosphates up. I currently using reef roids with good results but phosphate go high fast. Vinegar bring them down but my nitrates go to 00 and that’s not good..
the red digi picture is from oct 8 and the other is from novem 23.
The goni is from August 29 and the other is from November 23. So i think roids are working on most coral.. but I want to try something that doesn’t kill me with phosphates.. that do you guys think or have experience with this AB+ coral nutrition

Been using the AB+ for a few months now.
Corals love it and I'm getting fantastic growth, at least on my SPS.
I have a 40g total water volume and I dose 4-5ml a day straight into the return pump chamber, so it circulates through the tank.
Within seconds I have full SPS polyp extension, so I know they're diggin it.
I do have some phosphate issues but thats due to my overfeeding.
When I was doing RR, my phosphates were much higher, with the AB+ they've dropped considerably.
I will, occasionally, mix in a small amount of RR, but thats only because I have a tub in the fridge, once it runs out I wont be buying another.
I'm sold on the AB+ and can't see myself switching any time soon.

I agree with Mark, try avoiding RR as much as possible. I use Red sea AB+ and Brightwell amino and all my corals love it.

I’ll get it this weekend I’ve been using RR at least 2 times a week as I see the good results but phosphate are getting high...

Can anyone tell why nitrates stays so much lower Than phosphate and what type of bacteria feeds on phosphates?
Thanks in advance

How long does a bottle last? For large tanks I assume not long at 4ml dose per 100l tank.

so the whole bottle has to stay refrigerated? hmmmm. I was going to get a 5L but damn.

Exactly my point. I would have to get a mini fridge to store it.
I guess for small tanks it's an option. My tank is 80g and I estimate 12ml dosage so I would get about 3 side a from one bottle. Out of my price range to maintain.

Does anyone have experience with the Aquavitro Fuel? How does that compare to the RedSea AB+? Seems like a similar product (or concept at least).

I think is only vitamins and AB+ is food in small little tiny pieces.. I use feul 2 times a week...
Are you sure about that?

The description of AB+ is "an organic complex of dissolved and suspended simple building blocks of carbohydrates, amino acids, fatty acids, and vitamins."

The description for AquaVitro Fuel is " a comprehensive carbohydrate, vitamin, amino acid, polyunsaturated fatty acid, and trace element supplement developed to address nutritional requirements commonly associated with corals."

It doesn't sound like AB+ is food. They sound pretty similar. Plus they look an awful lot like each other (yellow liquid).

Hey all good types but Aquaforest Components 123 have done wonders on my corals

Since this tank is running I’ve been using feul and only with RR I noticed and increased. That’s why I said that I think about it... tomorrow in my way back home I’ll bring AB+ and try it... just to see

Every time I use the recommended dose of reef roids my phosphates spike from .09 to .25
