I was talking to my Dad tonight that knows nothing about marine tanks and told him I joined the New Jersey Reefers Club after a few minutes he said "wow honey I did not even know that you some pot and that there was a club for it".After about 10 minutes of explaining I think he knows I am not a pot head

He’ll eat his words when he finds out that reef tanks are more addictive than drugs. In addition, similar to marijuana leading to harder drugs, your first tank always leads to constant upgrading to larger tanks.

Just don't make the same mistake I did. I told the cop that pulled me over, I was a member of NJ reefers and I was going to pick up my order from the group buy. I had to explain that one quick and in a hurry.

lmao my co-workers saw me on the site and the nj reefers so now they refer to me as a reefer.

Urban legend....actually nothing to do with police code, as so many think. It was the time a bunch of California kids use to meet to smoke after school. It was the "code" they used so their parents wouldn't know. It spread across the country.....early 70's.

We lived in an apartment a few years back that was like 200 yards away from a police station. We were worried we were going to get raided because we had the blow glow spilling out of our windows and had people coming and going with bags. Luckily nothing happened but we used to joke about it all the time.

Mike funny you should mention that last yr I had a situation here where I was accused of growing weed in my house because the tenants seen the blue glow from my house.When confronted with this I replied the only thing I was growing were corals.

Funny you mentioned that.....that's how I found Tony's house (shipwrecked). At night, couldn't see the numbers, but eventually saw "the glow."
