i'll be at 400g heavy stock. do you think its enough?
No experience with that skimmer but your system is on the lower end of its advertised range which is good since they tend to overstate that. Size wise it should be fine. I’ve been hesitant to go with proprietary pumps in the event that it dies and does need to be replaced. Got burned with skimz a few years ago . That being said the regal looks like it’s using a varios pump which gets very good reviews for reliability. I just bought one for my return and it’s dead quite also. Overall it seems like a good choice. RO makes good skimmers.
Are you set on an internal skimmer? I have a large external MTC recirculating skimmer that I’ll be selling. It’s too big for my new tank.

yup without a doubt. Have it on approx 500-600 gallon super stocked system and she pulls gunk like a champ.
