Your setup sure looks cool. I already have the hangers, but nothing to hang them from. What did you use to hang the light?

I am extremely satisfied with the lights. They totally exceeded my expectations. The level of control and the light output is pretty awesome. Ive owned all other types of lighting and i feel like i finally have all of them in one unit(t5,mh,led) The par and shimmer of MH, the dimming and color temp control of T5's and LEDs to simulate moon cycles.

Thanks alot. I used the sunlight hanging kit which come with ceiling hooks

Did you ever consider the zero edge light tree ? I dont want to drill holes on the roof of my apartment. or want the 40 odd lb light fixture to come crashing on my tank ;D.

I wouldnt worry about that too much if installed correctly you have a better chance of being struck by lightning ;) But ive heard alt of people love the zeroedge stand. I just rather hang it for aesthetics.

Yea they are pretty pricey im glad i was able to buy them used from another reefer. But i totally feel they are worth the investment

It might fail if you are using Firefox as browser. Try IE, or if that is not an option, install the IE tab option in Firefox and install FlashPlayer 10.

Dont worry thats the first thing i took care of.If i hadnt he would be dead by now. He was having a fight with his reflection and i swear he broke the waters surface at least a dozen times

So i picked up some new additions this weekend. A helfrich firefish and an allens damsel. The allens damsel has to be the prettiest damsel ive ever seen and is the most peaceful of the damsels. He gets along great with the helfrich although my jawfish was pretty pissed about his arrival. They seem to be getting along better now
