Rehypes 40 gallon zeroedge

well i broke down my cad and finally decided to get this tank going. I sold most of my frags prior to setting up this tank so i only had a few pieces of coral left. Anywho heres some pics of the tank shortly after it was delivered.I really love the build of the tank and i love the sump just as much(it almost the size of the tank. ;D ) I actually have had the tank setup for a few weeks now. But had a crash when i went away for a few days. I stupidly sold my chiller since the tank was running so cool but while i was away we had a few 100 degree days with 100% humidity and that sent my tank to about boiling :-[ When i came home the temp was reading 89 degress. Well needless to say my remaining frags were gone. But the surprsing thing was all of my fish were ok....and most shocking of all my blue linkcia was just fine.Well in the meantime my tank has gone through its whole "cycle" again and im in the lovely algae phase.(Not to mention i repurchased a chiller) But the good thing is finally got an aquascape im ok with. So hopefully that wasnt too long winded and here are some pics. Ill post some recent fts tomorrow.

We are also going with a zero edge. We should have one in a week or two. Let us know any tips and what we should watch out for. Can't wait to see more pics! Also where did you get yours? We have been shopping around online.

If you can buy it from dr.mac at pacific east aquaculture because the customer support is a little less than stellar from zeroedge. Mac can also get you the best price.

He was one that we were looking at. What are the dimensions of your 40 we were looking at the 22zr complete and is there much difference in price?

Yea theres a pretty decent difference in price and the light isnt included. Id recommend the 22zr though you get everything at that price. The 40 gallon is about $500 more.

Heres some pics i snapped this evening. I know it looks pretty crappy but bear with me until get all of this algae taken care of.

That's pretty sweet. How hard was it to level? Every time I've ever thought that I'd like to have one of them, the one thought that slams me right between the eye's is "I'd never be able to get that thing level!"

What kind of cleaner magnet do you need on that and can you put a reef gadget on both sides of it? Looks great. Like the black sand. Very nice!

It actually began to "settle" in on its own. For the first week or 2 it wasnt flowing evenly on all sides but now its good.

I've never heard of an aquamop. I'll have to dig up a picture. The one in my head can't possibly be right!

Looks great with the black sand.

I'm so happy that I chose to use black sand for my CADlights system. Love the look of it.

Finally, geez, thought I'd never get to see this thing...... ::)

Sorry about the losses buddy, that stinks.

That aside, it is a beautiful system. 8)

I agree, thats one sexy looking sump too!

So how bad is the evap??

Congrats on the new setup and best of luck with it from here Eugene.
I know you will get it all dialed in, cycled and have it looking awesome soon enough.
This takes time as you well know and also allows the wallet to recover somewhat. LOL.

I still have your NGT frag for you. Looks like you may be a few weeks away from wanting it though. :-\
It will be ready when you are. I will frag sit until then. ;) ::)

All the best buddy!
