Replace Reeflo Barracuda with a DC Pump?

I'm thinking about replacing my Barracuda with a new DC pump. Nothing wrong with the Barracuda, it's been a workhorse for me. But thinking about going DC for the efficiency and control of flow. Has anyone moved from an external pump (approx 4k gph) to a DC pump? If so, I'd welcome your thoughts, pros/coms, etc. Thanks Ray!

DC pumps has no head pressure pumps, as long you are not pumping up you are fine

Thanks. No head pressure. Just floor to the top edge of my tank, along with a raised 75 gallon fuge that's maybe 6 feet of the floor.

You should be ok to go with DC

I use two simplicity dc pumps and they have work well they run two manifolds with 5 tanks. The tanks are all on the same floor so I don’t even use them at full power.
