This Saturday heading to Hamburg, PA for the Northern Berks Reptile Show. Plan to bring a cooler or two to store some frozen rats.
May even pickup another lizard while I am there. Looking to get another chameleon if the price is right.

Yes, my son sees all the reptiles with outrageous prices; and we thought fish prices were high.

Don't know how often you go to the show's but did you see the pair of leucistic rainbow boa's for $250k? They were the only pair at the time.

We use to go to many. I don't remember those but if they we there ate the same time as the snakes my son would remember.

That's insane! I hope those reptiles have a fantastic life expectancy rate at those prices.

Enjoy the show Mark. Take some pics of the really outrageous stuff for us.

It was the VallyForge show about 3 years ago. They also had some matta matta turtles for a pretty penny. I haven't been to tomany shows lately because its 90% ball python morphs so its not as exciting like back in the day when there was a 50/50 mix of venomous and nonvenomous and spiderballs where the BIG thing at the time.

Man i miss going to those shows. I'm sure Josh remembers what i used to bring into the store from those shows. Hamburg was one of my favorite shows to go to. Enjoy the show mark.

This weekend marks a milestone for me.

Not only did I skip Hamburg and Whiteplains (a rarety for me) but I even sold a snake to help fund my newest addiction. I guess I'm coming over to the dark side! (wet side??). The shows have become dominated by ball pythons and I miss the days when there were more colubrids for sale.

Here's what I reluctantly parted with today. Possibly the prettiest morelia I have owned in 15 years.

Show was good; waited an hour to get in the door. Many python morphs and rarities. They had black head pythons, womas which were more orange than ours and for the same price, many rattle snakes and cobras, even a red pygmy rattle snake. The chameleons were dirt cheap and wanted to buy one but didn't. My son did pick up 2 Chinese box turtle hatchlings even though I said all week no more animals. He called his mom while I went to the bathroom and she said yes,
damn sneaky kid......LOL

Nice looking Morelia by the way.
