Rimless aquapod..

Imma rip of the rim off my aquapod.. I'll post pics..

my question:

I know the front wont have a problem cus its seamless.. but should I do anything to re enforce the back glass?.. maybe more silicone or something?

Is the tank short enough that the glass thickness won't be a problem without the rim? Just because it is seamless doesn't mean that it will still be structurally sound when you remove the rim...?

Its only 12" high...

I Believe is 3/8".. Is that too thin?...

I think there's a calculator somewhere (RC maybe?) that will tell you.
