ro/di mess up?

evening everyone. i may have mixed up the output line of the ro/di when making water. i'm not quite sure. how can i test the water to make sure it the 5gal bucket doesnt contain the bad water?

You need a TDS (total dissolved solids) meter to tell.

shoot so it's possible i'd be dumping regular tap water (or perhaps worse)?

i was doing so many things, i may have just dropped one line (the orange one) in the bucket.

wish there was another was to tell.

May sound funny, but you can taste the water. The R/O water will almost have no taste and the waste water will taste much different. If you are on city water, you should also be able to tell by the smell. I know with mine, I could smell the chlorine in the water.
