I bought an AWI unit that I added a permeate pump and pressure tank to and hooked it up to the fridge. Works great and my wife loves the taste of the water from it. It is costly at $300 but it's well built and their support is excellent. One of the TDS meters started acting up and they reacted to my email immediately by shipping a new one out the same day.

I have one from Buckeye and one from AWI. I've been equally happy with both! Just make sure whatever you get, if you have city water, you make sure it has the chlorine reduction stage. If you have well water, you don't need that stage.
I have the BRS "enterprise" with a DI addon. it was like 75$ + 30 for the DI cartridge that i added on later. I don't have the room to have a static place for one & I have a nano so it's perfect for me. when my filters need changing I'll have moved into a more permanent place & be able to pickup one of the 5stage 100gpd ones.
