Anyone ever use Marco Reefsaver rock?
Like the look of the stuff and it runs $7 a pound.
Marco ReefSaver Premium Shelf Rock - By the pound

I'm looking to mix some rock in with my current rock for a new tank. Love the idea of a raised scape (as the reefsaver seems to be designed for)...

Another option is to order base rock and cut, but would be unsure how to accomplish that as the rock would be thick and I believe bandsaws dont have enough depth to get through them.

I am setting up a new ELOS 75 Gal and decided to go with Aquaroche.

It’s a ceramic, hand made rock made of pieces in different sizes that can interlock in a number of different ways. It’s made in France and sold by Aquarium Specialty. A bit pricey but the best product I’ve seen. You can check it out at the site below or also check out the company site in France. Also in English so you can figure out all the different pieces.

I've used it in the past and I have it in my current system. Order it from BRS, pretty sure its cheaper.
OR
If your handy, order the rock on Amazon. It comes from Worldwide Imports and costs about $1 per Lb. Its not flat cut so that's where the "handy" part comes into play. The large pieces are easily manipulated with hammer and a large screwdriver or any number of different saws. You can make your own flats easily. before that a good rinse and vinegar bath will open it up some and make manipulation even easier.

Won the auction as I was the only bidder (they're also a new supplier).
I got the stuff at the relative decent price of $4.50 a pound as opposed to $7 - $9 a pound.
Dropped a note to the supplier requesting moderately thick shelves ranging from 8x5 to 8x10 with other pieces at their discretion.
They got back to me within 10 minutes acknowledging and telling me they would ship tomorrow.
Compared to other suppliers of this rock (in all styles) these guys came in about 35% cheaper with free shipping.
Will drop some unboxing pics to see what happens.
