How long do you guys leave your rock out of the water to rescap?
My hammers are touching now and thinking of drilling holes and separate them more!!

If you are worried about it, take some newspaper and soak it in saltwater. Throw that over the rock and corals while they are out. People use to ship corals like that so it should give you some time.

Yeah I’m worried about it but after those post here I feel better taking the big rock out with coral! It’s probably going to be like 15 minutes just to drill holes around for better spacing the Frags!!!

Based on the fact they are euphyllia, unless they are full withdrawn into skeleton, I wouldn’t leave them out for any significant duration. LPS don’t handle gravity as well unless they are already fully withdrawn into skeleton prior to removal

that said, I have had sps and other LPS/softies out for long durations (1 hour if I’m working on a large rock and trimming multiple colonies and drilling for scape).

edit: I’m not saying to take an hour just saying I have had them out for that duration haha

Has anyone here used this in the button for the Frags plug. It’s from the dollar store for outside signs in the driveway

or if you have overcrowding just share em with your local reefing buddies. :)
It is a little more than a third of the fish tank that is designated for Lps, those are not big colonys yet to be fragged.
Added this Frags in June but thanks God they growing very well and already touching.
You know I like sharing:)
