Rod's Food?

I just had some one from Living Reefs recommend this to me, sayings it's great stuff both fish and corals. I quick Google yielded only a shred of information, aside from the main website(www.rodsfood.com), but from what I can gather, this stuff looks pretty good. They only place that I've seen it sold online is Marine Depot so I went in a ordered some from them, it's mostly distributed at LFS's. I was wondering if anyone here had used it before, currently or could recall a testimonial or two.

I have not used it yet, because I have to get through my existing food supply.

However, I have heard from many people that it is great stuff. Once I get through my food, I plan to switch to this food.

I am not sure where you live, but East Coast Aquatics sells this food, in case it is convenient for you.

use it and love it! Local stores you can buy include OGII and AO, both at arounf $20 per flat, and both stores are sponsors here. I use the reef blend and couldn't be happier!

I use it and love it! If you have tangs or other herbivores, get the stuff with the green label because it has macro algae along with the meat.

Have to jump in here and say we love it as well. We use both the rods food and coral food as well. Fish, inverts, and LPS love the stuff and we pretty much gave up on other sources of food (besides blackworms).

I've used it. My fish go crazy for the stuff. I also see a small Alge bloom after feeding it for a few consecutive days. So I use it but not as my primary food.

Just came in today. Package was torn and a little came out. Don't know how I feel about it, but It's defiantly either UPS's fault or Marine Depot.

I'll start using some ASAP.

i love rods, i use the coral blend and the fish only blend. both basically the same, except the the coral blend is much smaller pieces, and the fish only blend is only bout $15 or so a flat at ao. but i think this may be the best fish food ever... i thaw it out in a small container, and use a turkey baster to feed it the fish and or corals

I used it and everything likes it. But with a large tank and a lot of hungry fish it's too expensive. I can get a large flat of mysis, large flat of brine with spirulina, and a small of plankton for the same price. I mix pieces of each of them and some small seaweed pieces prior to feeding and the fish love that too
