Is Tropic Marin Pro-Reef really worth it? It's at least twice as much as the Reef Crystals I normally use.

i used tropic marin pro for a few months and personally i dont think is worth that much money, i use reef crystals and my tank looks the same if not better

I use TM Pro. But I do water changes once every two months or so so I spend just as much as you do coz it takes me twice as long for one bucket LOL

We tried TM Pro and haven't really seen any great benefit to it. I think we'll probably switch back to RC.

Me either.....didn't see any need to use the more expensive stuff. Plus, I've never gotten close to 200g from a bucket of TM Pro.

I'm just finishing up my first bucket of TM and I do like the way it mixes better. I'm also close to getting 200 gallons.

Some of my SPS hitch-hikers are doing better, but I began dosing Randy's 2-part about the same time.

Last time I paid $58 at Aquatic Obsessions, not sure which promotion was running at the time. I'm due for a bucket next payday. I'll let you know what it goes for next time.

Anyone in the central area (I'm in Bridgewater) looking to buy salt from Dr. Fosters & Smith. If I buy 1 container the shipping is $9.99 but if I change the order to 4 buckets the shipping only goes up $1. Anyone else need salt and want to split the cost of shipping?

Rich, I'm using TM and the SG is 1.025. I wish the Alk was a little higher, but the calsium is great.
