Is the next organized cleanup at Sandy Hook.

Bob, maybe the club can be a sponsor for this event and then have a bunch of us attend? (Not sure on the legality of sponsoring this with our "not-for-profit" status.) That could give the club some recognition and we can clean up a beach all in one fell swoop (or should I say sweep? ). Or maybe you can just register the club as a group? We'd have to have a sign up thread so you know how many will attend... but that might be the best way to do it.

If we do one earlier than that day, then we won't leave them much to clean up. We left that beach sparkling last time.

So far the boss has not told me any plans for Oct 22 or Sep 24. Not available Sep. 17.

interested -but not sure yet whether oct works for me or not. Once the school year starts and we get into the rhythm of things again - will be able to better figure out my weekends.

Also - once we solidify on the date - we should post this on rc and also in the announcements section.

Hopefully this doesn't come true, but I'm sure there will be plenty of damage caused by Irene.

Maybe we should wait til after the storm to set a date? I'm like the rest here though. Set a date and we'll try our best to attend. It's actually more fun than it sounds!

We can do a beach cleanup in my garage. There was a lot of debris floating in there.

Yea, from what I've heard, your neighborhood probably needs it more than the beach.
