But this weather is NOT RIGHT!!!

I know it's nice and all, but am I the only one that is a little freaked out by it? I mean it's January and I just took a ride with a t-shirt on and all my windows open!

I couldn't agree more. This is definitely not normal weather for January.

If it is this warm now can you imagine what the summer will be like?

I went Tog fishing on Wednesday.

Going Offshore Striper fishing tomorrow

Going Tog fishing in Belmar (Party Boats by shark river, where you guys dove in the summer)  on Tuesday.  Ocean Explrorer, for anyone who wants to experience January fishing!

I LOVE IT!!!

I fish on the Ocean Explorer on Fridays all summer. I'm not sure if he's gone to FL yet for the winter but Bobby Quinn is a great captain... he's a diver too that kept asking me and Brian to go diving with him last summer but we never got around to going.

Keep us in mind if he offers again this summer!

My take on the weather is that this is OK, but I'm one of those crazy people who like it cold.  I'd take a month of 30 degree days over one 90 degree day.  It must be all of the insulation I carry around on me!

John - next time I see him I'll ask him. I'm sure he'd love to take us diving. He's even told us to come down to the keys when he's there in the winter for some fishing & diving. He fishes for grouper down there as soon as he hooks one he puts on a tank and dives in to get it.

Greg- do you have a shop? I've been meaning to ask you. I'm looking for a set of Grundens or Simms waders, maybe a nice set of Avet reels and St Coix combo :)

I went on the Ocean Explorer on Wednesday last week, got skunked, all shorts. Monofilament line sucks for Tog. I am happy to say I am now re-spooled for 50 lb braided!

Deb- I don't think he's gone yet, not with this weather. Hopefully he's there come Tuesday.

I was thinking of going fishing on the Northstar in Ocean City for Tog, but they go out further to the grounds. To me, that is "chumming" territory with all the heavy deepwater swells. *Yech*

We are all going to look back on the first few years of global warming and say, " Wow that didn't suck!"

And then all of NJ will become a reef habitat!
