Seio/Korilla Wavemaker Issues?

Anyone have or know of any issues using Seio or Korilla pumps with classic on-off wavemakers? These pumps are designed differently than Maxi Jets or Mag pumps, and I was wondering if that had any negative impact on long term usage with on-off wavemakers versus usage with variable speed wavemakers.

Bob, I know I'm going to get flack for this but I used 3 Korallia (1-K1 and 2- K2s) with my AC jr. for a couple of years without any issues. I read where these types of pumps can burn up, run in reverse or just quit but I never had any of these problems.
