I have the same issue on the ipad and ie but not with firefox

I had the same prob with firefox 5 and had to change my settings in the browser but after the update to 6.. not a prob.. don't own a Ipad and haven't use IE in years so can't help you there

Is there a way to show or display the first few lines of PM like the old site did? Reason I ask is because now I have over 250 messages dating back to when I first joined. I would like to keep the PM's with people contact info but want to open each one.

You can just check every pm you have in your box. Then choose the option mark as read that is on the bottom right of the messages that are displayed (selected messages). You may have to do that with three or four pages because you can only see so many messages per page. That way you don't have to open each pm.

i have so many msgs... (will do clean up soon)

for now, i only marked some of the newest msgs as read.
and my unread msg count on top shows 1,000 notifications.
the magic # of 1000 is my key to check new msg...

meaning if it is more than 1000 msg, will mean i have a TRUE NEW msgs!

you can do the same as you want and set as 500 or may be 200...etc.

Can we change the chat box to display the last 20 lines when you log in?

Having it blank every time you log in does not encourage using it if no on e happens to be on at that time!
