Several Asterina's on my Deresa clam...

...is it a problem? Ive read that they are harmless to live clams, but I have two of them on my clam and was curious if I need to remove them.

Shouldn't be an issue. I get them on my clams from time to time. I suppose they're eatting algae.

the only time I've seen them be a problem is when they are ontop of my zoas. With a clam, you have nothing to worry about.

They multiply quickly though and can get to be a pain. They can damage zoas and palays. Keep an eye on them
