Samsung S10plusNice pics of really pretty coral! How are you getting such good close ups?
Hard question. Some an eternity. Others fairly fast. They really are all different. Plus there care is a factor.question i have for you guys ive never had any luck with any of the stone coral even the easiest ones but how long does it really take for these small tiny frags to branch off into these " colonies "
Depends on the coral but most of them will be a nice mini colony after about a year. I have a red planet that's a little over a year old and it's the size of a dinner plate. Then I have a grape juice that's around the same age and it's the size of an egg.question i have for you guys ive never had any luck with any of the stone coral even the easiest ones but how long does it really take for these small tiny frags to branch off into these " colonies "
yah i guess my biggest factor would be water quality i do a water change every 2 weeks give or take everything else in my tank is pretty much growing decently all softies hammers and such. every time i get a stick of some sort itll stay active for about a month or two they slowly turn white and lose more and more of its polyps dont really know why. my temp is 79 calcium is usually 420-460 nitrates and nitrites are 0, alk and mag i really check honestly usually check alk its 8-10Depends on the coral but most of them will be a nice mini colony after about a year.
