shrooms melting?

Alrighty, got a yuma rock from my work today for 5$$$$$$

After putting them into my tank they started to excrete slime from the mouths. Dont think its coming from anywhere else though.

Are they just pissed from going from weak old PC's to MH? or are they dying

The increase in light can cause shrooms to melt.

Move them to the bottom of the tank and let them acclimate. You can put a few layers of plastic window screen or other plastic netting over the top of the tank. Remove one layer every other day until they adjust.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. Hope they are adjusting.

Sorry bout that been real busy with school and all but fridays my day off .

Happy to say that the yumas are acclimating nicely to the new lighting conditions and i only had one loss, an all pink baby one

Not too bad concidering theres about 26 others total

One thing you cannot forget when acclimating is acclimating to light too! Good to hear you didn't lose too much. ;D
