Sigh....

It's hard to visualize this without a picture. But have you considered flexible PVC? It may work from your description. You will get a new bulkhead...
Yeah its kind of hard to take a picture and make everyone understand what they're looking at too Lol flex PVC could probably work but I'd still have to take the tank off in order to get the old one out. I've already nudged the pipe a couple times and water starting leaking from the bulkhead and its as tight as its gonna get so its definitely a big concern. But with this planning and semi breakdown, I could save up for all the equipment I really want(without making impulse coral/fish buys) and take my time with it. Saving money is a big factor for me at this time.

I'm not gonna go into anything but let's just say saving money is a little more important right now then my tank. It just seems like this is my best move right now for numerous reasons. Yeah, I'm not really a fan of having an empty tank but if its going to make things better for me and my gf down the road with money, then I think I have to do it.

It sounds like you will have your work cut out for you.

All I can do is wish you good luck with whatever decision you make.

The Amount of money that goes into this thing is ridiculous. I would never think that in a million years I would spend the amount of cash with this fish and coral thing.

Anyways, I do think that having an organized system/sump area is extremely important. Every week or so when is time to do maintenance you get hit with the frustration of having to deal with all that c***...

All the best man...

Everytime you setup a tank you learn something new and wish you did it different. I think all of us feel that way, and unless we have a room for all of our gear, its tough to make those changes.

Thank you I appreciate that. Hopefully an organized sump/plumbing will make life easier for me. Here's to a month or 2 of planning out! Lol

Agreed. That's why I wanna take my time with this setup. Think of all the equipment I'm gonna have and plan out accordingly. I want this to be as neat as possible.
