Skimmer Choice

So for my 180 upgrade, I have the choice of two skimmers that I am thinking of. First is the Aquamaxx CO-2; secondly, the MRC mr2. Does anyone have experience with either and hitch would you choose? So many varing reviews out there.

The aquamaxx are getting a lot of high praise and the build quality is top notch. I had the CO-1 briefly.

I have both the MRC I and II......where are you locating the skimmer? The reason I ask is that MRC slimmers are beckett type skimmers and are quite noisy. If you're doing a basement sump area, I'd highly recommend one....if you're planning on putting it under the tank, there will be noise. By the way, the best skimmer I've owned as far as pulling out gunk.
