I was cleaning my skimmer and broke the tube that holds hose running to the waste collector. I put some putty in the hole until i can get A permanent fix Annoyed it say the least.

Lowes sells a attachments that fits in that hole perfectly and screws in. I use it on my skimmer. It is a barb hose type.

I wish I was handy enough to do it. Any one want to take a shot at it? I'll bring it to your house. I looked all over Lowes I have no idea what fitting you guys are talking about.
From the looks of it, you probably have two options.
It appears to be a clean enough break that you could try a Weld On repair. But, I don't think I'd trust super glue to a piece that could dump skimmer spooge all over the place should it fail. It is probably worth a shot.
The other is this fitting a few have refered to . These are those white compression fittings for tubing that hang on the peg boards in the plumbing sections of HD & Lowes. Drilling your skimmer should probably be your second choice but it is certainly doable.
You could always try the WO fix and if it doesn't look solid enough go to the threaded fitting. I'd give it a shot for you I'm pretty far north of you though I have WO 4 & 5 on hand. It's a very quick fix to use WO so we could meet and I'll bring the WO to you.
