let me start off by saying that i have a euro-reef rs 135 skimmer, could a recirc mod be performed on this skimmer? i researched mods for this model but came up with nothing. i'd rather not alter the unit unless i will get significantly better performance. please chime in if you know a thing or 2 about this... anyone? ...mikem? lol

Yes a recirc mod is available for the euroreef.

There are tons of info on this on RC.

I have an original CS 8-3 as well as a recirc modded CS 8-3 (or maybe they are CS 8-1...don't remember)

The performance increase is debatable. Some say it is worth it. Others do not. My modded one has a crack in the body and I have been too lazy to fix it. You can come by and look at both to see how to perform the mod if you cannot see the info at RC.

Yes Roy. It was worth the mod. Also the gate valve mod is very helpful. You can also stop over here to check it out.
