Slow growing zoas??

I am always hearing of zoas growing fast. How fast should you notice the growth? It seems like mines arent growing. But thier really small frags

Zoas grow fast when conditions are right... sometimes too fast. For me they are a tricky coral to keep happy. There seems to be many small, sometimes hard to detect, things that alone might not bother them but when combined hamper growth. There are ones in my tank that have not grown in over a year... I've been growing and melting zoas for a few years and at times I'm still scratching my head. They are bi-polar

Lol. Well i just got three really big nice ones. They went in nice and glowing pretty...im just not ordering from aquarium depot anymore

Ruth. Same here. Only Zoas out of 10 that made it were the fake Red People Eaters, Dragonseye's super tiny yellow faces and 3 polyps or eye f Rah.
No more Aquarium Depot for me.
