I have a low bioload frag tank. 30g or so water volume. I can probably get away with not running a skimmer. But I'd like to.
I run my old skimmer Reef Octo eSsense 130. It's rated for like 100gal or so and after a few hours it was not able to foam a head. There just not enough in there.
I am thinking about this:
It's rated for 40g heavy but as you know they all over rate their skimmers. Anyone has experience using this. What's your thought?
I think most skimmers rated for nano is not going to do to much for my tank.
