I run the avast marine cal rx. Not many have it, but quality and easy to setup. Plus easy to get parts for it. Been running since the tank was setup. All I change is media once it gets low, and refill co2 bottle. Nothing else.
I don’t see that one available anywhere. I’m definitely going to be looking at all of the Black Friday deals. I would love a Geo or Reef Octopus but don’t want to shell that kind of money.

@Jamie S hey man wondering about your tank. So since we have the same tank haha how are you doing with flow i noticed you have gyres by the looks of I’m guessing 350s
Which is what I’m using problem is I’m running by on pulse mode but only 50% cause I’m blasting everything….

I also noticed yours are pretty high up similar to mine…
Now i dunno how people do it but im not getting the wavy / pulse effect and i feel like i killed alot of corals just blasting them…

Mind helping me out cause yours look solid… problem is i have very fine sand and seems like tou have no sand lol

@nightmarepl I do have the 350's on the side and 2 MP40's on the back wall. The gyre's i run a pulse at 70% and shoot it up towards the surface and it creates some nice wave motion. The MP40's I have at 40% I believe and the only way I can accomplish that is without sand. I tried the pink Fiji sand in my last tank, and it blew all over the place. If I were to add sand again it would be a much coarser sand.

How are you liking the tank? To me I think it's the best purchase I made. It's a solid tank for the price point, did you get the sump with it as well or did you buy a separate one?

Well i bought mine from Somone brand new and just got the tank i built my own 75 gallon sump using plexiglass
The tank itself is amazing great quality material looks insane.. i really like the euro brace keeps so much water from splashing out my fish would always make a best for some odd reason so it’s a win for me i mean the only problem is it’s 200 gallons everything just doubles in price no matter what you wanna do

That's awesome. Which one did you get? How big is your system? What were you dosing before? sorry for so many questions lol. I have an APEX and an extra PH probe so I'd connect it to that.

Our total system is like 400ish gallons (200g display, 80 g frag tank, 60 gall recirc and probably 60 gallon sump). We got the super reef octopus reactor.

Yes it is quite an upgrade in price, luckily i knew that i was going to eventually upgrade so I gradually bought what i think I'd need which I think I was able to succeed in doing

That's the one I was looking at but I don't think I'm ready to spend $800 on a calcium reactor yet plus additional required equipment to run it. Maybe I'll wait another year and see how much I'm consuming.
