Snail sale at live aquaria

Looks like liveaquaria is a having a sale on snails. The best deal is on Trochu snails

They have been having alot of sale lately but now they charge you a $10 box charge on top of shipping. When you add taxes, shipping and box charge it makes the sale not worth it.

Just checked it out. With the overnight and handling charges my $32 order would be over $70.
Now, if some folks in central south wanted to join in for a few 25 packs of trochus, nassars, and ceriths, we can all split the cost and the packs...

Just wanted to throw this out there.
I just went through a spell with live aquaria. Order some fish and added a bunch of snails to round it up to free shipping.
Every snail I ordered, tricks, nassuriaus, and Astrias all arrived dead or in a dying state. And the fish were barely any better.
While this is not typical of my past orders from them years ago, I just wanted to throw it out there in case this is a careless issue arising from the current times.

Interesting as I had some problems with them as well a few months back. I ordered a mandarin, which arrived dead. They sent me a replacement, which arrived in very bad shape and was dead by the morning.
Their CS was great and they offered to ship a third but I refused as I didn't want to endanger another animal. They were happy to give me credit, which I used on some coral pieces, which came through top notch.

Well the way I looked at it if you ordered two orders of snails you would get 50 snails and it would be around a $1 a snail that’s not bad.

and If you can team up with a few other people then that price goes down.

Now that I'm looking at that, and looking at prices of the other snail types, I'm guessing that should be $88.99

Edit: Just dropped a big mixed snail order, including 5 orders of the trochus. Will keep folks informed on what happens. Ha! I may start raising snails in my live rock tank in the garage.
