So who uses what salt brand

I have been using Tropic Marin Pro but my corals haven't been looking good lately. I've heard that they are having quality problems. It's something about their parameters not being consistent. That's all hearsay, though.

At any rate, I'm switching over to SeaChem Reef salt. I've heard good things about it but haven't started using it yet. I have two buckets and plan to start on my next water change.

Let me know how you make out with the Seachem. I could not get it to mix clear when I made up 50 gallons. It was so cloudy I could not see my pump in the bottom of the 50 gallon barrell. I am now using RC and so far so good.

I switched to brightwell. about 3 months now. mixes up fast never had a brown mix issue nice thing also I dont have to add extra to get to 26 reading. and price is right.

switched to brightwell from TP and love it! Stable, mixes quickly and I have no issues with no brown film.

i switched from reef crystals to sechem reef and havent seen any real change. i would urge to transition slowly. i did 20% water change when i first switch brands and my corals did not appreciate it.
