It is a bit much, once the food source runs out....but you can supplement with nori or somethingAnyone???
Also, do you guys think having a total of 5 nassarius Snails and 5 cerith Snails is over kill for this tank? I have 3 of each right now and the ceriths are workhorses.. a little slow but they're doing a pretty good job. As for the nassarius Snails.. I haven't seen em out since I put them in. I can see their "antenna" peeking outta the sand but that's about it

The nassirius snails for me only pop out when I drop flake or hatchery food. I don't know if you have a algae breakout either. They climb on my glass for that too.
ha....couldn't resist could ya
is that a torch?
If it recedes into the skeleton then something is wrong.
prior yes but no need at this point....your tank was fairly new when you added em in.....so he could just be still acclimating...torches can be finicky at times.. ..wait it out and maintain a water change regimen for nowThat was my thought as well. Think I should try dipping it? And if so, dip into what?

My Torch just suddenly closed up almost completely.. any idea why? Nitrates are at 10ppm. Water is cloudy but I'm assuming that's just the bacteria bloom phase. Snails are still kicking so I'm not sure what happened to it. All within 5mins it just closed up
