Space invader vs Hawkins

So I have been wondering when the war will break out today is the day. The space invader shoots out some long feelers and it has been stinging the zoa for months. Today finally one of the feeler hit the Hawkins below. It has stuck on the Hawkins. Who wins?

If there are still some shields and the Hawkins has good timing...

The Hawkins has won. Contrary to common wisdom. It has caught the tentacle and ate it. We will see if it has sustained damage in a few days. The Hawkins is survivor it Stn’d when I first got it with two little tips left so I glued it there not expecting it would survive. Now both corals have encrusted on the rock. It’s a happy outcome for me. The space invader can afford to lose a couple of tentacles.4A2FF4EE-6854-4C3B-95CD-A1EBE4E42A6E.jpeg

I think the constant barrage from the space invader will eventually win the war. Those were small, they can send out some long distance bombers...

It will be hard to move the space invader now. In manahattan aquarium (an LFS in manhattan) there is a tank very similar to the dimensions of mine. There is a large space invader colony right in the middle on top which gave me the idea. It is really a nice center piece. The corals surrounding it seem to have survived.

I really like that tank at Manhattan aquariums too. They have some pretty cool stuff there but sadly with a slight NYC hike haha

Would it be possible to adjust the to flowing in a manner to keep the feelers flowing generally away from the other corals?
